Building Sustainable Livelihoods

This program equips vulnerable youth, women and men with opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families. Economic empowerment is fostered through vocational skills, education, and savings/financial management through Self Help Groups. Productivity is bolstered through volunteer care groups and awareness of maternal and child health services, improving health, hygiene, and nutrition.
Building Sustainable Livelihoods in Malawi

The program seeks to equip 740 households in Southern and Northern Malawi with opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods through Self Help and Volunteer Care groups. MCIC funding will go towards continued support for implementing program activities such as vocational skills, education, savings/ financial management, awareness of maternal and child health services and WASH in Blantyre and Ekwendeni Districts.
Maternal, Newborn and Child Health

This project will improve the delivery of essential health services for mothers, pregnant women, adolescent girls, newborns and children under five. It will also improve the demand for essential health services and reproductive, sexual health rights by women, men, girl and boy adolescents, newborns and children.
