Osu Children’s Library Fund

• Nungua Community Library

  Fund: Development Fund | Country: Ghana | Amount: $8,919 | Funded in 2010/2011

  The Nungua Community Library project will purchase twelve computers and furnish that library’s new computer lab. With the necessary equipment available, community members will have access to government delivered training, become computer literate, and use these skills in finding gainful employment.

• Madina Community Library Project

  Fund: Development Fund | Country: Ghana | Amount: $9,859 | Funded in 2009/2010

  The Madina Community Library project involves the construction of a two-story library in Madina, an under-serviced community in Accra, Ghana. This library will act as a community meeting place and recreation centre, as well as a centre for learning and literacy.

• Building a Computer Lab

  Fund: Development Fund | Country: Ghana | Amount: $8,038 | Funded in 2008/2009

  Funds for this project have gone toward the building of a computer lab for the existing Nungua Library in Accra, Ghana. The lab will serve library users and literacy students, giving them useful computer and keyboard skills.
