  NCF’s Community Development & Civic Participation project contributes to sustainable economic development through the promotion of community-based ecotourism and strengthens rural agricultural communities by improving local participation in decision-making and by increasing local food security.

• Women’s Network Against Violence

  Fund: Development Fund | Country: Nicaragua | Amount: $6,928 | Funded in 2008/2009

  The women’s movement against violence links grassroots women’s groups throughout Nicaragua. It includes workshops that empower women to stand up to violence against women. Support is also provided to local projects that bring women together.
