  • Mindanao Flood Relief

    Fund: Relief and Rehabilitation Fund | Country: Philippines | Amount: $20,000 | Funded in 2011/2012

    This Mindanao Flood Relief project will assist hundreds of families who were victims of December floods spawned by Typhoon Sendang in northern Mindanao. Assistance will include supplementary food, cooking utensils, hygiene items, children’s clothing and medicine, as well as support in rehabilitation of housing.

  • Compostela Valley Rehabilitation

    Fund: Relief and Rehabilitation Fund | Country: Philippines | Amount: $20,000 | Funded in 2012/2013

    The Compostela Valley Rehabilitation project will assist victims of the December 4, 2012 Typhoon Bopha in southeast Mindanao (in and around the cities of Compostela and New Bataan). Assistance will focus on getting people back into their homes, and will include provision of bedding, construction materials and tools.

  • Bohol Earthquake Relief

    Fund: Relief and Rehabilitation Fund | Country: Philippines | Amount: $20000 | Funded in 2013-14

    The Bohol Earthquake Relief project will assist victims of the October 15 earthquake (epicenter in Sagbayan, Bohol). Assistance will focus on immediate relief to the most affected families (mainly those with badly damaged or destroyed homes who are in evacuation centers).

  • Machinga and Zomba Districts Water and Sanitation Projects

    Fund: Development Fund | Country: Malawi | Amount: $7895 | Funded in 2013-14

    This project will provide clean water and improved sanitation to 80,000 beneficiaries in 92 communities in rural Malawi by drilling 8 boreholes, digging 24 shallow wells, rehabilitating 60 non-functional water points, constructing 3,576 improved sanitation facilities, training 92 communities in hygiene, and forming 92 Water Point Committees.

  • Philippines Typhoon Relief and Rehabilitation

    Fund: Relief and Rehabilitation Fund | Country: Philippines | Amount: $45000 | Funded in 2013-14

    This project will assist victims of the November 8/13 Typhoon Haiyan, with a range of immediate relief initiatives (food, water, hygiene supplies) and tools and materials (wood, bamboo, native or iron roofing materials) for house repair/reconstruction. The objective is to help up to 2,500 families (approximately 20,000 people).
