  • Cash Transfer Program for Flood-affected Families.

    Fund: Relief and Rehabilitation Fund | Country: Philippines | Amount: $15,000 | Funded in 2012/2013

    ADRA Philippines will work to provide immediate lifesaving relief to beneficiaries affected by Southwest Monsoon Flood in the Philippines through a Cash Transfer Program for Flood-affected Families. Cash transfers will provide beneficiaries with flexibility and empowerment, as they will be able to purchase items that meet their highest needs in wake of this natural disaster. ADRA plans to target 264 families (1,320 individuals - 50.5% male and 49.5% female) by providing each family with one-time vouchers worth Php. 2,000 (USD 50). These vouchers will be used by the families to purchase basic commodities in selected supermarkets.

  • Livelihoods for Life

    Fund: Development Fund | Country: Cambodia | Amount: $9,835 | Funded in 2012/2013

    The Livelihoods for Life project will equip at-risk youth in targeted communities of Kampong Thom province with decision making power and protective and economic tools to alleviate their vulnerability to trafficking, reducing poverty, improving economic self-reliance and empowering the predominantly marginalized populations.

  • Congolese Refugees Emergency Response

    Fund: Relief and Rehabilitation Fund | Country: Rwanda | Amount: $15000 | Funded in 2013-14

    This project will ensure improved sanitation for over 9000 women, men and children, providing adequate access to refuse disposal to every household in the refugee transit camp at Nkamira. The project also aims to provide standard shelters to the refugees in the camp.

    Fund: Development Fund | Country: Cambodia | Amount: $8943 | Funded in 2013-14

    The Livelihoods for Life project will equip at-risk youth in targeted communities of Kampong Thom province with decision making power and protective and economic tools to alleviate their vulnerability to trafficking, reducing poverty, improving economic self-reliance and empowering the predominantly marginalized populations.

  • Livelihoods for Life

    Fund: Development Fund | Country: Cambodia | Amount: $7,510 | Funded in 2014-15

    The project seeks to train at-risk youth in communities of Kampong Thom Province on safe migration and anti-human trafficking through an awareness campaign. It aims to equip 1600 youth with decision making power and economic tools to alleviate their vulnerability to trafficking, as well as provide sustained income generation activities for vulnerable households through expanded vegetable farm business operations (forty-eight households), chicken farms (fifteen households) and fish farming (four households).
