Ecuador is facing a crisis. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck off Ecuador’s west coast on April 16 has killed more than 500 people, left 107 missing and over 4,600 injured. Entire communities have been destroyed and others are cut off by damaged roads, power and communication lines.

MCIC’s members are quickly gathering resources to respond to this emergency and assist the thousands of people in need of first aid, food, shelter and other resources.
