Community Solidarity Fund Orientations

Posted September 20th 2016

The Community Solidarity Fund provides funding to Manitoba not-for-profit, community-based groups involved in development projects overseas. The fund is available to non-member and MCIC affiliate members to provide another way for Manitobans to work together with partners around the world.

Attend one of our two orientation sessions for information on how to write an effective proposal and to help focus your project goals and achieve success. Facilitators will review the application process and go over the Community Solidarity Funding Guide.

October 5 - 6:00 p.m.

MCIC Boardroom

302-280 Smith Street, Winnipeg MB

October 6 - 10:00 a.m.

MCIC Boardroom

302-280 Smith Street, Winnipeg MB

We encourage participants to review these funding documents online prior to the orientation.

Community Solidarity Fund orientations are also a great way to connect with other development actors and share ideas with like-mined global citizens.

To register for one of these sessions, email Hom Gartaula at with the subject line “Community Solidarity Fund Orientation.”
