Manitoba Reaches Out to Haiti Posted January 13th 2010
As the world is scrambling to get details on what will likely be one of the most devastating natural disasters of the decade, Manitobans and Manitoba organizations are springing into action by preparing for massive relief efforts.
The Government of Manitoba has announced it will provide $200,000 for relief and rehabilitation in Haiti. These funds will be presented to the Manitoba Council for International Cooperation (MCIC) for distribution among its member organizations involved in operations in Haiti.
