Global Citizenship Award
The Global Citizenship Award recognizes graduating Grade 12 students who have helped create a more just and sustainable world through engaging in meaningful global citizenship activities.
Each Manitoba secondary institution may nominate one candidate to receive the award. The application form should be filled out by the selected candidate and then verified by a teacher or staff member at the nominating school who can comment on the applicant’s global citizenship activities. A representative of MCIC will be available to present the award at a school awards or graduation ceremony.
You can get regular updates on the Global Citizenship Award and all other MCIC educational opportunities by subscribing to our Teachers E-Newsletter Global Students/Global Citizens.
